Amanda is a highly imaginative and versatile fashion stylist, creative director and photographer who loves to create innovative and contemporary imagery for fashion, commercial and lifestyle. Amanda also loves to photograph families, being a mum herself she knows how important it is to capture special moments in time with loved ones and the happiness looking back at treasured family memories brings.
The pandemic has inspired Amanda to explore and also create work which starts conversations and raises awareness about important issues in the world, with a focus on the empowerment of women.
Amanda's dedication to all things fashion has led to Norwich University of the Arts awarding her a First Class BA Hons Degree in Fashion Communication and Promotion.
In 2020 Amanda won the 'A Day in Your Life' Photography Competition, curated by BAFTA and multi award winning photographer/ artist Alison Jackson. Amanda's image was chosen by an esteemed panel of top industry & celebrity judges, and also received the 'Hundred + Heroines' prize, for the style of feminist avant garde.
Amanda was gifted a camera and offered an apprenticeship with Harrod's as part of her prize.
Amanda absorbs every sight, sound and feeling around her, extracting the beauty, excitement, meaning, irony and humour, which she uses to influence and strengthen the narrative within her work. Amanda is always searching for inspiration from fashion industry trends, news and popular culture to inform her creative decisions, this ensures her work is always contemporary.
Amanda thoroughly researches each project to ensure authenticity and originality is communicated within her work.
Using colour, nostalgia and vibrant concepts where appropriate helps her imagery to connect with and inspire the viewer.
The Way of Tea, EGK Textiles, Ellice Lydia, Nina Naustdal and Men Tally Up are some of the fashion brands that have commissioned Amanda’s creative direction and styling skills to successfully create promotional imagery for their brand.
Amandas work has been published across industry media including Dodho, FotoNostrum, Candy, County Wedding, Norfolk, Kensington & Chelsea Art Week, Boyfriend, Art of Portrait, Norwich Resident and Malvie Magazine.
Amanda brings an upbeat attitude and strong work ethic to all projects from concept, building an expert team, right through to resolution. The journey of creating an image is as important to Amanda as the finished work. If Amanda & everyone had a great time creating the image, she feels she has created something honest to her upbeat aesthetic.
